Summary

HowToFish.click is a fan-made browser game site. We minimize data collection by design: no accounts, no passwords, no profiles. Your game progress is stored locally in your browser.

Game save data (localStorage)

The game stores your progress - coins, fish caught, upgrades, unlocked areas, achievements and settings - in your browser's localStorage under the key htf-save-v1. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us. Clearing your browser data deletes your save.

Analytics

We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand which pages and game features are useful. Events are limited to gameplay and navigation signals such as game_start, fish_caught and tool_used - no names, emails or precise location. If third-party analytics (such as a configured analytics provider) are used, they operate under their own policies; this policy will be updated accordingly.

Advertising

We display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
